We believe that providing a creative outlet for pupils is vital to an inclusive education.

Creative Arts

Creative Arts is a practical set of lessons encompassing Dance, Music and Drama. Through Year 9, pupils will get the opportunity to use state of the art music software, work in the theatre for Drama, develop dance through Hip Hop and Street Dance.

The Creative Arts Department prides itself on the activities we provide for the students, for example, regular trips to watch theatre productions and forging strong links with further education colleges and universities.

Students get the opportunity to perform in front of their peers and lower year groups, to showcase the work they have done throughout the year.

The Creative Arts programme is designed to allow pupils to explore the Arts in four active areas and to enjoy and achieve in them all.
