Prospectus

Thank you for taking an interest in our school. Bishop Barrington realises that making the right choice of secondary school for each child is very important. We want to work in partnership with parents and pupils to ensure that all of our children fulfil their potential, are happy at school and receive a first class education.

We believe that every child matters. A child only has one school life and, together, we must make it count.

Students at Bishop Barrington do well. Attainment is rising year by year and we are proud of the achievement of our students.

We have high expectations of our students and of all who are involved in the daily work of the school. Our school is a community with learning at the heart of all its activities. We believe that teaching should inspire and enthuse. We want our pupils to become life long learners, developing qualities and skills to provide a springboard for a very successful future.

Prospectus

Whilst we want our students to achieve well academically, we also believe in the importance of providing broader educational opportunities. Bishop Barrington offers a range of activities to help students develop personally, socially and culturally. We are proud of the young people who leave our school to take their place as responsible, contributing citizens of the 21st Century.
