We are committed to increasing the numbers of 5-16 year olds participating in at least 2 hours of high-quality PE and sport in school per week.

In addition, the Partnership wants more opportunities for 5-19 year olds to participate in a further 3 hours per week of sporting activities through attractive provision designed to stimulate and increase take-up and sustain participation.

School Sport Coordinator - Maternity cover until July 2008

We are looking for a qualified teacher with experience in Physical Education within the Key Stages. This can be a part-time or full-time temporary contract, supply work and secondments will be considered. The successful candidate will be organised and willing to take on the challenges of coordinating the objectives of the PESSCL strategy within the Teesdale and Staindrop clusters of schools.
