Healthy eating is now a major part of life at Bishop Barrington.

During the summer of 2005, we made several improvements to the school building. Most important of all perhaps, is the completion of a modern bistro for pupils at lunchtime. Every pupil can obtain a healthy mid-day meal! All Year 7 pupils should stay with us at lunchtime to be safe, although we would prefer all pupils to stay on site, where it is safe and they can eat healthily. Chips in 'Bishop' may be a cheaper option but we really believe it is not the best for our pupils.
The dining hall now has modern furniture with an increased seating area, a lighter atmosphere and multimedia entertainment. Three large LCD screens allow pupils to watch television while they dine in style.
In 2006, the kitchen was also completely refurbished which adds the finishing touches to the Bishop Barrington dining experience.
