Kitchen staff at Bishop Barrington get the school ready for the Summer holidays in style.

The kitchen staff prepared and served a Summer Holiday themed lunch for staff, pupils and visitors to the school on Thursday, 16th July.

BBQ food was served to prepare us all for the treats that Summer holiday food offers us, with vegetarian options available. The pupil favourite was definitely the ice-cream sundaes!

Alongside this, the kitchen staff dressed up in their best Summer clothes, including Hawaiian style flower garlands. Furthermore, the dining hall was decorated with some Summertime favourites; paddling pools, surf boards and beach balls.

Staff and students enjoyed the day and won’t forget it in a hurry, one pupil said:

“The day summed up our school really well, we work hard, but have fun too!”
