Sports Day

Pupils from Bishop Barrington Sports with mathematics college competed on June 29th, 30th and July 1st in the school’s annual sports afternoons.
The Sports afternoons were split into four sections; Football tournament, Netball tournament, Athletics and Continuous Relay Race. Each activity winner was awarded 6 points that went towards their form class tally.
Pupils were given the opportunity to take part in both traditional and fun athletics activities such as 80m sprint, javelin, shot put, obstacle race, tug of war and three-legged race.
Head of Boys PE, Martin Broom was pleased with the standard of performance, “Pupils have been committed and determined to compete in high level sporting activities. It’s a great opportunity for pupils to feel proud of their achievements and spur on their peers.”
The Tutor Group titles were taken by 7BY (Year 7), 8DH (Year 8), 9NR (Year 9).
