The award was presented to Nathan Powell (Assistant Head Teacher) and Marjorie Kellett (school governor) in a celebration event held at Bowburn Hall on 21st May 2009. Bishop Barrington School was recognised by Investors in People for being “committed to continuous improvement in people management and development practices.” It is a reflection of the outstanding care and guidance we provide, something which is a core value of everything we do at Bishop Barrington. We have also been identified as potential to receive a “long serving award” for maintaining IIP status for over 10 years.
