The U14 netball came second in the area heat of the National Sports Colleges’ Netball Tournament held at John Spence Community High School, North Shields, on April 2.

The girls will now play in the North regional heat, in their age group, at Manchester after Easter. The date has yet to be confirmed.

Bishop Barrington’s U16 netball team has also qualified for the next round of their tournament after finishing fourth in the regional heat at Kirkby Stephen where the girls were up against teams from as far away as Keighley, West Yorkshire, North Shields and Pickering in North Yorkshire.
