The U16 netball team played in the regional round of the national Sports’ Colleges Netball Tournament in Kirkby Stephen on Wednesday, March 25.

The girls were up against teams from as far away as Keighley, West Yorkshire, North Shields and Pickering in North Yorkshire. The standard of play was extremely high and our girls played some superb netball, finishing in fourth position.

We are not sure if we have qualified for the next round. Last year the top four teams went through but we are not sure whether or not the same rules apply this year; we are still waiting confirmation.

The U14 team will plays at John Spence School in North Shields on April 2. We wish them well.
