Five of our students – Sammy-Jo Wymer, Rebecca Jordan, Scott Proud, Helen Swainston and Christopher Jackson – attended a Computer Science Master Class at Durham University on May 15, and will return for a second session on Tuesday, June 5.

Three groups of students also took part in Master Classes, in Mathematics, English and History, conducted by Teesside University, at St John’s RC School in Bishop Auckland.

Rebecca Shiel and Hannah Johnson, who attended the History Master Class on the causes of the Second World War, found it interesting and informative.

“I learned quite a few new things,” said Rebecca. Added Hannah: “I found it very interesting and enjoyed taking part.”
