Mental Health Aware Week

Mental Heath Aware Week, there will be special assemblies all week and a special newsround. culminating in own clothes day "wear yellow" on Friday.

"It’s important to get young people thinking and talking about mental health, and getting your teacher to do an assembly or lesson on mental health is a good way of reaching your classmates."

See here for more information on the 'Time to Change' website.

Why is this important?
If your teacher spends some time talking to your classmates about mental health, it might get them to think about the topic differently, and help them to be more supportive to their friends and others who are going through a hard time.
