Our U14 girls’ netball team recently represented Durham in a sports colleges’ tournament in North Shields.

The event was held at John Spence Community High School and Sports College. Bishop Barrington played against colleges from as far afield as Hull and Kirkby Stephen, as well as colleges from the Newcastle and Wallsend area.

“The girls played extremely well, but were unlucky. It was real hard lines, they didn’t win,” said Linda Johnson, PE teacher, who accompanied the girls to the tournament.
