Bishop Barrington School hosted the Bishop Auckland Mini Tennis competition on Tuesday 14th May. 48 Year 3 pupils from Cockton Hill Primary, Escomb Primary, Woodhouse Community Primary and St. Andrews Primary School took part in the annual event. The event consisted of teams of four boys and four girls competing in a series of matches and challenges for which they earned points. In what was an excellent event, teams fought hard and played well to earn their school points. Once all scores were added, Escomb came out on top, closely followed by Woodhouse, and then St. Andrews and Cockton Hill tied in fourth. 10 Year 9 leaders from Bishop Barrington School led the event, all of whom were outstanding and were a real credit. Good luck to Escomb in the County Finals and well done to all for competing.
