Yearbook
Friday 15 December 2006
For the first time, Bishop Barrington is compiling a Yearbook, which will be given to Year 11 school leavers next year.
The Yearbook 2007 will include photographs of everyone in the year, all staff, special events, funny stories and achievements, as a reminder to students of their time at school and the people they shared it with. Staff will also be contributing their memories of the students.
The book is being compiled by art and design teacher, Jonathan Carney, who said: “We have been fund raising, in a bid to keep the cost down. I would like every student to get one so we need to raise about £2,400. We’ve raised £400 so far and have discos and a bag pack at Asda arranged for over Christmas to help raise funds.”
Mr Carney would also like to hear from any local businesses interested in taking out an advert on the back page of the Yearbook, or anyone who would like to make a contribution towards the costs. He can be contacted at the school.
