Bishop Barrington always aims high academically, but it is really exciting when students reach the top by their own efforts and in their own time. That is exactly what happened with our Year 7 netball team. Not only were they unbeaten throughout the entire year but they ended up winning the South West Durham School netball league Trophy!

Head of girls PE Debbie Hepple said,

“This was a great game at Spennymoor School and the girls really deserved to win. They have gelled excellently together as a team and this is the first time that Bishop Barrington has brought the trophy back for 12 years.”
